Had spoken to Paul numerous times regarding purchasing and possible trade in, agreed to come down and take a look at the car and test drive. Drove the 3 hr round trip down, had a look at car which is a beautiful vehicle, has been for sale for 27weeks, which raises the question of why?. As we are looking to spend over 70k on a vehicle obviously anyone in there right mind looks at a few options in there price range and goes for most suitable and best deal. My partner stated there are 2 others he is looking at aswell, we were told we couldnt test drive without a commitment to buy. My commitment is we are absolutely buying a vehicle but only one i have driven and confirm yep all is sweet. One more vehicle we were looking at and decision would be made this car was very high on our list, were are not driving back to Perth to look at 3rd car to drive another 3 hr drive to maybe test drive a vehicle we dont know is in good functioning condition. The salesman wanted to take ours around the block aswell for trade in but why cant i drive one i may buy?. My partner was then informed by Paul i had agreed to take 19k for mine. In fact the conversation was 'How much do you owe on yours?' 'Around 19k' 'Whose your finance currently with?' 'RAC' 'Well Bianca i am sure we can come to some sort of deal to get this moving forward!' Never agreed on anything whatsoever and as you said Paul i am a very intelligent person and my partner knows me very damn well knowing i never make an agreement without both of being there. But now being accused of breaking an agreement that was never made. I am definitely taking my money elsewhere. Any agreement is formally made in written form. Do not ever bully me and my partner into committing to buy anything, we see through it and your tactics will not work.
